The exhibit features varied interpretations of human form, from realistic to abstract expressionists in drawings, paintings, prints, and sculptures.
The artworks come from the Wili and Doreen Fernandez Art Collection, which includes works by Ang Kiukok, Ross Arcilla, Bencab, Orlando Castillo, H.R. Ocampo, Manuel Rodriguez, Sr., and Solomon Saprid.
In this exhibit, we invited Mr. Tony Perez, a playwright, librettist, and author, to write the exhibition notes and will present his works at the hallway gallery of the museum. Mr. Perez is a Cultural Center of the Philippines' Thirteen Artists Awardee.
The exhibit allows the viewers to see the human figure and its parts, against different backdrops, and in different states. It highlights concepts of space, anatomy, scale, posture, proportion, relationship to other figures and to spectator, mental (and moral) attributes, medium, and technique.
